Windows Vista performance test alternative gameplay

To some extent, the performance rating index provided by Vista is a good hardware capability evaluation standard for the average user. However, when running the performance test, the main hardware of the computer such as CPU, graphics card, memory, hard disk, etc. will be tested one by one, and scored separately, the whole process takes a long time. If you upgrade a certain hardware, for example, add a memory stick, now I want to know how much help the system performance index is improved. Here, I will teach you how to test only on a single hardware to save unnecessary evaluation time.

Open the Command Prompt window as a system administrator. To do so, click the Start menu and type "“cmd”" in the "Start Search" text box in the Start menu. Press the “Ctrl” and “Shift" keys and press the Enter key at the same time to open the “command prompt" window with system administrator privileges. At the command prompt, type “winsat /?” (without quotes, spaces), press Enter, you can see, the corresponding parameter syntax is listed.

Now, for example, to re-evaluate the performance of the memory, just type "ldsat mem" and press the Enter key. After a while, after testing the performance of the memory, the test results will be displayed on the screen. (Figure 1), but will not be saved to the file, individual test items such as the CPU also need to add parameter commands, specific parameters will be prompted accordingly. If you want to save the test results as a file in xml format, you would enter the following command format. For example, we want to put the test results in the D disk's "2345.xml" file, the specific command format is: winsat test project – parameter – xml save disk name, such as: winsat mem – xml d: 2345.xml. Other parameters can be explored according to the prompts.
