Windows Vista sound problem solving method

Today, the author suddenly encountered a situation, that is, the sound suddenly disappeared. Later, I checked that it seemed that the line of the earphone was broken. There is no way to buy a new one tomorrow. At first I seemed to be anxious. Then suddenly I remembered that "Device Manager" is actually a good tool.

Specific steps:

(1) Open “Device Manager”.

(2) Double-click & ldquo; sound, game controller & rdquo;

(3) 1. If a sound card is not listed for the audio device, the sound card should be reinserted into the motherboard slot. If the problem persists, go to the next step.

2. If an onboard sound card is used if an audio device is not listed, you may need to enable the audio device in the BIOS. Go to the next step and check the sound settings in the BIOS to match the hardware configuration in your computer.

3.

drop-down arrow appears. Properties -> View device status. If the status shows normal, it is not a problem with the computer. That must be a problem with the sound.

Tip: By <;Device Manager> we can also download the latest sound card graphics driver. We only need to select "Update Driver" when the drop-down menu appears, that is, you can download the latest driver and save the trouble of finding the driver.
