Windows updates are very frequent, usually once a month, and most of the time you need to restart the machine. In general, Windows will tirelessly remind you to reboot the system, even for you. If you don't want to temporarily interrupt the work at hand, you must take the trouble to choose to delay the restart. If you are in a bad mood, do you want to hack Windows?

Windows Update Reminder

If you are suffering from such misfortune, the methods provided here can solve your pain. For both XP and Vista: Modify the registry (Start Menu - Run - type "regedit" into the registry to find the description options and follow the prompts).

Find this location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Policies\\Microsoft\\Windows\\WindowsUpdate\\AU

Create a new 32-bit DWORD with the name NoAutoRebootWithLoggedOnUsers and assign a value of 1. If you want to restore the reminder, you can delete this key.
