When the Vista starts, the hard disk indicator blinks and the noise is very high.

This is caused by Vista's new superfetch service. Windows SuperFetch helps improve the response speed of the PC and makes the system more stable. Windows SuperFetch tracks the most common applications of your system and tracks when users use them. It then preloads these applications into memory for quick access. The whole process will start at the same time as booting into the system. This will cause the hard disk to exchange data with the memory after the Vista system is started, causing problems in the title of the article.
Disabling the superfetch service in Windows Vista can be solved as follows:

Click "Start" - "Control Panel", first switch to "Classic View", then select "Manage Tools" (Figure 1):

After entering, select "Services" and find "superfetch" in the service name on the right, (Figure 2)
< Br>

Right-click on superfetch, select "Properties" from the menu, select "Manual" in the startup type, and click "Stop" (Figure 3):

< Br>

Figure 4 stops the service process:

Finally select "Apply" and confirm to stop the superfetch service (Figure 5),

Restart the computer and there will be no more flashing of the hard disk indicator.
