Teach you eleven tricks Let Vista easily improve performance

The following sections are only for users who want to use the Internet, chat, and games. Optimization is based on the principle of preserving the original system characteristics, reducing resource occupation and improving performance, and is not an optimization of abnormality.

a system service optimization

point "Start - Run" or press Win + R key to exhale the Run dialog box. Enter "services.msc"

The following is a list of disabled items

●Windows Time

Maintains time and date synchronization for all clients and servers on the network. If this service is stopped, the synchronization of time and date will not be available. If this service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will not be able to start.

●Tablet PC Input Service

Enable Tablet PC pen and ink function

●Windows Defender

Scan your computer to find out which software you may not need. Setting up the scan and getting the latest may not require a software definition.

●Telephony

Provides Telephony API (TAPI) support so that each program controls the telephony device on the local computer and the device on the server that is running the service over the LAN. This item is required to set up an ADSL connection or other network that relies on a telephone line. It can be disabled by using a route or not using a telephone line.

●Remote Access Connection Manager

Manage dial-up and virtual private network (VPN) connections from this computer to the Internet or other remote networks. If the service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on the service will not be able to start.

●Diagnostic System Host

Diagnostic System Host Service enables problem detection, troubleshooting, and resolution of Windows components. If you stop the service, some diagnostics will no longer work. If the service is disabled, all services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start.

●SSDP Discovery

Discovered network devices and services that use the SSDP discovery protocol, such as UPnP devices. SSDP devices and services running on the local computer are also announced. If you stop this service, SSDP-based devices will not be discovered. If this service is disabled, any services that depend explicitly on it will not be able to start.

●Computer Browser

Maintain an updated list of computers on the network and provide the list to the computer to specify browsing. If the service is stopped, the list will not be updated or maintained. If the service is disabled, any services that depend directly on this service will not be able to start. The list of network neighbor computers needs to be supported by this project. If you do not use or are used to directly use IP on the computer on the network, you can disable this item.

●Base Filtering Engine

The Basic Filtering Engine (BFE) is a service that manages firewall and Internet Protocol security (IPsec) policies and implements user mode filtering. Stopping or disabling the BFE service will greatly reduce the security of the system. It will also cause unpredictable behavior in IPsec management and firewall applications.

●IPsec Policy Agent

Internet Protocol Security (IPSec) supports network-level peer-to-peer authentication, data origin authentication, data integrity, data confidentiality (encryption), and replay protection. This service enforces IPSec policies created through the IP Security Policy snap-in or the command-line tool "netsh ipsec". When you stop this service, you may experience network connectivity issues if your policy requires a connection to use IPSec. Similarly, remote management of Windows Firewall is no longer available when this service is stopped.

●Windows Firewall

Windows Firewall helps protect your computer by preventing unauthorized users from accessing your computer over the Internet or the network.

● IKE and AuthIP IPsec Keying Modules

IKEEXT service hosting Internet Key Exchange (IKE) authentication and Internet Protocol (AuthIP) keying modules. These keying modules are used for authentication and key exchange in Internet Protocol Security (IPSec). Stopping or disabling the IKEEXT service will disable IKE/AuthIP key exchange with peer computers. IPSec is usually configured to use IKE or AuthIP, so stopping or disabling the IKEEXT service will cause IPSec failure and compromise the security of the system. It is highly recommended to run the IKEEXT service.

●Security Center

Monitor system security settings and configuration.

●Superfetch

Maintain and improve system performance over time.

●Network Connections

Manage objects in the "Network and Dial-up Connections" folder where you can view LAN and remote connections. You can disable this by using the route to the Internet and the network is set up.

●DHCP Client

Register and update the IP address for this computer. If this service is stopped, the computer will not be able to receive dynamic IP addresses and DNS updates. If this service is disabled, all services that explicitly depend on it will not be able to start.

●DNS Client

The DNS Client Service (dnscache) caches the Domain Name System (DNS) name and registers the full computer name of the computer. If the service is stopped, the DNS name will continue to be resolved. However, the query results for the DNS name will not be cached and the computer name will not be registered. If the service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will not be able to start.

●Diagnostic Policy Service

Diagnostic Policy Service enables problem detection, troubleshooting, and resolution for Windows components. If the service is stopped, the diagnosis will not continue to function normally. If the service is disabled, all services that explicitly depend on the service will not start.

●Distributed Link Tracking Client

Maintains links between NTFS files on a computer or on computers in a network.

●IP Helper

Provides an automatic IPv6 connection over an IPv4 network. If you stop this service, the computer will only have an IPv6 connection when it connects to the local IPv6 network.

●KtmRm for Distributed Transaction Coordinator

Coordinates transactions between MSDTC and the Core Transaction Manager (KTM).

●Terminal Services

Allows users to connect to remote computers interactively. Remote Desktop and Terminal Server rely on this service. To prevent remote use of this computer, clear the check box on the Remote tab of the System properties control panel item.

●TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper

Provides NetBIOS on TCP/IP (NetBT) service and NetBIOS name resolution support for clients on the network, enabling users to share files, print and log in. To the network. These features may not be available if this service is disabled. If this service is disabled, any services that depend on it will not be able to start.

●Shell Hardware Detection

Provides notifications for automatic playback of hardware events.

●Software Licensing

Enables the download, installation and implementation of digital licenses for Windows and Windows applications. If the service is disabled, the operating system and licensed applications may run in reduced functionality mode. The "Switch between windows" feature requires support for this service item.

●Windows Search

Provides content indexing and attribute caching for files, email, and other content (via the Extensibility API). The service responds to files and email notifications to index the modified content. If the service is stopped or disabled, the resource manager will not be able to display the virtual folder view of the project, and the search in the explorer will fall back to the slower itemized search.

●Print Spooler

Load the file into memory for printing later. Users who use the printer should not disable it.

●Network List Service

Identifies the network to which the computer is connected, collects and stores the properties of these networks, and notifies the application when these properties are changed.

●Network Location Awareness

Collect and store configuration information of the network, and notify the program when this information is modified. If you stop this service, the configuration information may not be available; if you disable this service, all services that explicitly depend on this service will fail to start.

●Workstation]

Use the SMB protocol to create and maintain a connection between the client network and the remote server. If this service is stopped, these connections will not be available. If this service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will not be able to start.

●Portable Device Enumerator Service

Forces group policy for removable mass storage devices. Enable applications such as Windows Media Player and Image Import Wizard to transfer and synchronize content using removable mass storage devices.

●Offline Files

The offline file service performs maintenance activities in the offline file cache, responds to user login and logout events, implements internal parts of the public API, and assigns related events to Users who care about offline file activity and cache changes.

●WebClient

Enables Windows-based programs to create, access, and modify Internet-based files. If this service is stopped, these features will not be available. If this service is disabled, any services that depend on it will not be able to start.

●Server

Supports file sharing, printing, and named pipe sharing for this computer over the network. These features are not available if the service is stopped. If the service is disabled, any services that depend directly on this service will not be able to start.

●Windows Media Center Service Launcher

If TV is enabled in Windows Media Center, start the Windows Media Center Scheduler and Windows Media Center Receiver Service at power on.
