Retrieving the traditional file menu bar in Windows Vista

  

In the default settings of Windows Vista, there is no traditional file menu. If you want to quickly open the menu bar, you can press the alt key! But at this time, the menu bar is located under the navigation bar. Some users who are used to the traditional file menu bar feel that they are twisted.

How can I adjust the menu bar to the navigation bar? Very simple:

1. Press the Win key + R. Type regedit

in the Run box. 2. Open "HKEY_CURRENT_USER Software Microsoft Internet Explorer Toolbar WebBrowser"

If not Create a

3. Create a DWORD (32-bit) registry entry named "ITBar7Position" with the value set to "1"; as shown in the figure:

4. Re-open IE7, You will see a traditional file menu bar similar to IE6, located above the toolbar, as shown in the figure:
