Fully tap 20% of system bandwidth hidden in xp systems

  
In the xp system, in order to ensure the security and stability of the system, the system automatically retains 20% of the system bandwidth. For users who use the computer normally, these reservations are actually unnecessary. We can fully exploit this. Part of the broadband, let it be used by us.
Modify the WindowsXP system settings as follows:
1. Click Start → Run, type: gpedit.msc, and click the [OK] button, you can see the "Group Policy" in Figure 1. window.

Under the "Computer Configuration" item, click Open: Administrative Template - Network - QoS Packet Scheduler; then on the right side of the window, find "Limit to retain bandwidth" One item, right click on the item; in the pop-up menu, click on <;Properties>, you will see the "Restrict Bandwidth Properties" window shown in Figure 2.

3. In the "Settings" tab we can see that the Windows XP system default "bandwidth limit" value is 20%. Change it to 0 or a smaller number such as 5%. Click the “Allow” button; then click the [OK] button to save the new settings to your computer.
The 20% system broadband hidden in the xp system is released, which not only can fully utilize resources, achieve system optimization, but also quickly increase the speed of our Internet access.
