Win8 reset ClearType utility settings tips

? How to reset ClearType settings
many Windows users have been discovered and try to use the built-in system ClearType Text Tuner, its interface is shown below:

But then, I believe At the position shown in the second picture, many people were as dizzy as I was. After the adjustment, I found that the display effect was not as good as that.
How to restore it? This is a difficult problem. After some searches, including some foreign forums, most people have not found a solution. Some people say that they can be re-elected in a certain order. After I try, In fact, this still cannot be restored. Moreover, even if different monitors are connected to the same PC, the procedures and steps for selecting the clearest text may be different. (I am like this.)
How should I reset the settings? It seems that only analysis. With ProcMon, unsuccessful, the specific reasons have yet to be verified. However, by searching the developer's resources, I found some information about the screen settings on MSDN. After consulting and experimenting, I finally confirmed that I can reset the ClearType settings by modifying the two locations of the registry: (we use two monitors A PC as an example; the habit of making a backup before the registry operation)
1. Go to the registry HKCUSoftwareMicrosoftAvalon.Graphics, in the following, how many keys will be named in several monitors, respectively named DISPLAY1, DISPLAY2, …, DISPLAYn. All we need to do is click on each of the DISPLAYx keys and remove all key values on the right side (key value "default "except). Normally, the ClearType tuning should not look like this:

2. Go to the registry HKCUControl PanelDesktop. Below, find four key values starting with FontSmoothing, set to 2,0,1,2 respectively. Just fine.

3. Log out the currently logged in user and log back in to restore the settings and reset the adjustments made by the ClearType tuner to the system default state.
Well, as you can see from here, the ClearType of the user interface is per user-related settings. This is reasonable, because each user sees the effect of the screen text is different, there should be personalized preferences for each user to save. However, I hope that Microsoft will improve this tuner function in the next version of Windows, making it more practical and user-friendly.
