The system often sees some inexplicable TMP format files. Many readers don't understand what these files do. Can they be deleted? Today we will uncover this mystery.

First, temporary file generation

In the system C: WindowsTemp folder, we often find some files with the suffix TMP, the files in this folder are actually temporary files. They may be caused by a system being shut down accidentally, or by other programs not being deleted. And there are other types of files in this folder, for which there is generally no use value, we can delete it directly.

In addition, we open the "Disk Cleanup" under the "System Tools" of the attachment, and then select the partition to be cleaned. Generally, the system partition is preferred, that is, the C drive. In this case, the system will prompt that it is scanning. After a while, the disk cleaning project window will be opened. Select all the files in the file to be deleted, and then click the “OK” button (Figure 1). After cleaning these temporary files, you will get more disk space.
