Click the "Next" button in the lower right corner, and the Set Internet Connection screen appears.

The broadband dial-up connection established here does not establish a dial-up connection shortcut on the desktop, and the default dial-up connection name is "My ISP" (except for customization); after entering the desktop, the connection wizard is established. Broadband dial-up connection, a dial-up connection shortcut will be established on the desktop, and the default dial-up connection name is "Broadband connection" (except for customization). If you don't want to establish a broadband dial-up connection here, click the "Skip" button.

Here I first create a broadband connection, select the first "Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) or Cable Modem" and click the "Next" button.

The current Telecom or Unicom (ADSL) residential users have an account number and password, so I choose "Yes, I use a username and password to connect" and click the "Next" button.

Enter the account number and password provided by Telecom or China Unicom. Enter your preferred name in "Your ISP Service Name". This name is used as the name of the dial-up connection shortcut menu. If you leave the system, the system will automatically create a name. For "My ISP" as the name of the connection, click the "Next" button.

A dial-up connection has been established. Microsoft certainly wants you to activate XP now, but even if you don't activate it, you have a 30-day trial period. Why bother? Select "No, please wait a few days to remind me" and click the "Next" button.

Enter a username you would normally use to log in to the computer and click Next.

Click Finish to complete the installation. The system will log out and re-login as a new user. Log in to the desktop.

Seeing the picture of the blue sky and white clouds, you know what is going on. However, there is only one icon for the recycle bin on the desktop. To find the common icons, please see below.

Fourth, find common icons

Click on the desktop to start --> connect to --> broadband connection, as shown below.

Click the "Customize Desktop" button in the lower left of the diagram.

In the upper part of the figure, check the spaces in front of the four items "My Documents", "My Computer", "My Network Places" and "Internet Explorer", then click "OK", then " Ok, you will see more icons on the desktop you want.
