Modify the registry to hide confidential files

By modifying the file attribute to "hidden", we can hide important files, but this technique can be easily cracked by the rookie. In fact, we can also completely hide the files that we do not want others to see by modifying the registry.

To completely hide confidential files:

Open the Registry Editor and expand "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\Software\\Microsoft\\

Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Explorer\\Advanced\\ Folder\\Hidden\\SHOWALL", in the right box of the "ShowAll" key, change the "CheckedValue" key value to "0". After the change, the "Tools→Folder Options→View→Show All Files and Folders" option will be invalidated. This completely hides the "hidden" files that you don't want others to see; to make the "Show all files and folders" option take effect again, change the "CheckedValue" key value back to "1".
