Win XP can't automatically update the patch - re-register the Wups2.dll file

  

I don't know what's going on, my Windows XP can't update any patches, check it for a long time to find a specific solution - re-register the Wups2.dll file.

The following are the steps:

1. Right click on "My Computer", select "Properties", find the "Auto Update" tab, select "Turn off automatic update.", click " Confirm button. There is also a command method, enter "net stop wuauserv" under CMD.

2. “Start-Run”, enter “CMD” to open the CMD interface.

3. Enter "regsvr32 %windir%\\system32\\wups2.dll" and press Enter.

Note: If your system is Windows XP 64-bit, the command should be:

"regsvr32 %windir%\\syswow64\\wups2.dll"
