Big data migration WinXP software is moving around

The hard disk is getting bigger and bigger, and the price is getting cheaper. After getting a large hard disk and installing a new system, if you want to transfer the data under the old system, we can migrate the data well by just making some backups.

Windows XP Settings

There are two ways to set up Windows XP. One is to use Ghost to clone the entire partition. The usage of this method is not mentioned here. If we don't want to do this, just click "Start" in Windows XP | "Windows File and Settings Migration Wizard" program, you can back up all the settings in Windows XP to the file (Figure 1), after installing Windows XP on other computers, just run this program, and then choose to restore , you can restore the settings on Windows XP on the original computer to the current computer.

Tips:

If you don't find this program on your computer, you can open the Windows XP installation CD and find the FASTWIZ.EXE file under SUPPORTTOOLS.

This program can not only run on Windows XP, I have found that it can work normally under Windows 2000. Through it, we can also migrate the settings on Windows to another computer.

Similar tools are not available in Windows 9x/Me, but you can use Ghost for backup.

If you have more programs installed on your computer, it may be slower to collect. You should have some patience.
