How does the XP system delete the Windows Search and searchindexer.exe files?

  

searchindexer.exe is a service in XP system, Win7 system and Win8 system, which is widely used on Win7 platform. However, for ordinary users, this service is not very useful, and it will slow down the speed of opening the folder. We can delete this service.

Sometimes the searchindexer.exe service comes with the system, but sometimes it is caused by the user accidentally installing Windows Search. Now let's see how to shut it down in the XP system (uninstall ).

1. Start->Run, enter services.msc;

2. Find “Windows Search” service in the service management interface;

3. Stop! Then right-click, select Properties, select “Manual” in the startup type, OK;

4. Go to Control Panel Add or Remove Programs, find Windows Search 4.0, and click Uninstall. One thing to note here is that if you don't find the uninstallation, you can type it in the runtime:

Then uninstall it step by step. .

After the uninstallation is completed, you need to restart the computer. If the user wants to completely disable the searchindexer.exe service, you can delete it. If it is only temporarily closed, stop the service in the settings.
