Interesting use of the xp system AT command

The AT command is a built-in command unique to the xp system. It is the scheduled task command line in Windows. By setting the AT command, you can complete the management of related tasks, scheduling of the project, etc. It has very powerful functions. Let us study how interesting tasks can be done under this command?

First enter the AT command in "Start →Run";

1. Timed reminder

Command: at 12:00 Net Send 10.10.36.122 The time to date with friends is up, Get ready to go!

Net Send is a Windows internal program that can send messages to other users and computers on the network. 10.10.36.122 is the IP address of the local computer. This feature is also known in Windows as "message service”.

2, cancel the scheduled plan

Command: at 5 /Delete

Sometimes, the plan you have scheduled may change temporarily, so you can use it in time. The above command deletes the plan (5 is the identification number assigned to the scheduled command), of course, after the plan is deleted, it can be rescheduled.

3, timed shutdown

Command: at 21:00 ShutDown –S –T30

After the command runs, it will appear at 21:00, the computer will appear The system shutdown & rdquo; dialog box, and the default 30 seconds delay automatic shutdown.

4, automatically run the batch file

If the company's data is important, require a backup at the specified date /time, then run:

Command: at 1: 00AM /Every:Saturday My_BackUp.bat

Thus, at 1:00 am every Saturday (Saturday), the computer periodically launches the My_BackUp.bat batch file. My_BackUp.bat is a self-made batch file that contains multiple commands that can perform a full backup of the system.

The AT command is like a new type of alarm clock. We can set it in the AT command line to achieve the effect we want. Of course, this alarm clock reminder is only a small part of its powerful function. If you know more about it, you can explore the exchanges together.
