Reasons why XP system can't wake up after hibernation

  

Sometimes our computer always needs us to restart after every standby to resume normal use. This annoying phenomenon has also plagued Xiaobian in these days. At first, Xiaobian suspected that there was a problem with the system problem, so I reinstalled Windows XP and thought it was finally solved. In a few days, this sleep wakeup problem has happened again. What is going on? What should I do?

According to the fault phenomenon, it should be the hardware or its driver and the power management of Windows XP. Incompatible with the ghost xp. 1. Turn off APM's advanced power management features in “Power Options" in the "Control Panel" and disable sleep in  Hibernate".

2. Turn off the STR option in <;Power Management Setup> in the BIOS.

3. If you still can't solve the problem, you can set the ACPI Suspend Type to S1 in the BIOS (some machines display STD) or directly close the ACPI option, and follow the motherboard manual to put the STR jumper on the motherboard. Set to off.
