Optimize XP startup to make the system extremely fast

When starting and shutting down the computer system, we always hope that the system can be started and shut down quickly. So, we searched the Internet for a lot of articles about XP system startup acceleration, but the practicality is not strong. We have exhausted all kinds of tricks to optimize the system. The progress bar in the system startup and shutdown screen still needs to be rotated over a dozen systems to be successful. So what are the latest techniques to start the XP operating system?

Start Accelerated Optimization

First, open “system properties" (right click on my computer - properties, or open “system”, shortcut key win+pause break in the control panel) “Advanced” tab, in the "Startup and Recovery" area open “ Settings & rdquo;, remove the "system startup" area of the two √, if it is a multi-system user retention “ √ showing the time of the operating system list. Click “Edit” to determine the additional attribute of the startup item is /fastdetect instead of nodetect, do not add the /noguiboot attribute first, because guiboot is used later.

Open the registry (start-run-regedit), click “My Computer"Open“Edit&rdquo ; "Find" in the menu, enter AutoEndTasks, point to “ find the next ”. Double-click to open the found result to modify “value data” to 1. Then under the AutoEndTasks, you can find HungAppTimeout, WaitToKillAppTimeout, set the “Value Data” to 2000 or less, and modify the time of the menu delay here. Find the MenuShowDelay under the AutoEndTasks. The value is in milliseconds. If you want to remove the menu delay, set it to 0. After the modification, click the “Edit” menu to open the “Find the next” button (F3) and modify the results of the previous steps.
