WinXP unshares the folder with a small lock icon trick

  
                

Every Windows XP user should know that there is a small lock icon in the lower left corner of the shared folder icon. The small lock icon is actually a logo for sharing files in order to facilitate access. The small lock icon will still exist even after unshared. The method is as follows:

1. I click on the shared folder icon with the mouse, right click to move the file to share this option, open the share and click on it in this window. Specific user sharing & rdquo; this option;

2, after the selection will open a new window, select the drop-down menu in the new window, find the “Everyone” option in the menu, select “Add & rdquo ; this option.

3, continue to select & ldquo; Share & rdquo; clicking & ldquo; complete & rdquo; close the window.

4. On the back to the folder, place the mouse on the file and right click to select the attribute in the menu.

5, found in the property page that opens, "share" & rdquo; click & ldquo; advanced sharing & rdquo; open to continue.

6, off the share folder opens in advanced sharing settings, so that you no longer share files to other people, close the window on it.

After setting up, try to share a folder and see if there is a small icon in the lower left corner of your Windows XP. Is it missing?
