Setting up Internet sharing

You need to enable the Internet sharing function of Windows 2000 and make certain settings at the same time. The specific steps are as follows:

Network and dial-up connection

Your computer may lose its connection to other computers on the network. If these computers have static IP addresses, you should set them to get the IP address automatically. Do you really want to enable Internet connection sharing?], the prompt information has been said very clearly, it will change the [local] connection IP address to 192.168.0.1, click the [Yes] button to confirm;

:] If the local connection IP address does not belong to this network segment, other computers on the network will not be able to access the machine after the change. The solution is to change the IP address of other computers to the 192.168.0 network segment, and the IP address is from 192.168. 0.2-192.168.0.254 is OK, the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0, but the IP address of each computer should not be repeated.
