WinXP: Restore XP SP3 Custom Desktop IE Options

Microsoft removed the Internet Explorer option in SP3's "Custom Desktop". What should I do if the desktop IE icon is accidentally deleted, but I want to restore it instead of creating a shortcut (to send a shortcut to the desktop under C:\\Program Files\\Internet Explorer)? There are a lot of ways to change the registry on the Internet, it is very troublesome, and some of them are not necessarily effective. Here is a small flaw:

1. Right click on the blank space of the desktop, and the menu pops up, select “Attributes”. >

2, pop-up window, switch to “desktop", then click “customize desktop ;

3,<quo;desktop icon” there is no Internet Explorer, then press Click on the letter key i;

4. Click on all the way to “OK”. How about, the IE icon appears right on the desktop?
