Experience sharing: XP shows the solution of the last disc content [multiple pictures]

I always like to use the optimization master and other software to optimize my Windows XP system, but the following phenomenon has troubled the author for a long time. Sometimes when you put a disc in the CD-ROM drive, whether it is auto-play or open with "My Computer", the contents of the current disc will not be displayed correctly. The data of the last disc will always be displayed, and the files or The link can be used, and all other files can't be used, so you can only restart the computer to solve it at a time, which is very troublesome.

At that time, it was thought that this problem was caused by increasing the cache capacity of the optical drive when optimizing the system. However, when the author adjusted the cache to the system default state, the fault could not be ruled out. After consulting the data from multiple sources, I finally realized that this is a function called "CDROM Mirror" built into Windows XP. The principle is that when we put a disc, the system will automatically mirror the part of the disc that the user has viewed in the cache, so that the user can read the content repeatedly without reading from the disc. Take, improve the access speed, and this image has a default time limit, when X minutes in the past (default is 5 minutes), XP will automatically retract the image to display the new content. But undoubtedly it is the "culprit" that prevents us from reading the contents of the next disc normally, considering that this is a "chicken rib" function that is not very useful, and it also causes "very bad influence", of course It is "closed without discussion". If you are in the same confusion as the author in front of the computer, let me work with me.

1. Open the Start menu → Settings → Control Panel

2. Double-click the "Administrative Tools" icon → "Computer Management"

3. In "Computer In the “Management” click to expand “Storage→Removable Storage→Library”, the optical drive icon installed in the machine will appear in the right pane

4. Right click on the CD-ROM icon and select “Properties”. As shown in Figure 1
