For safety: six things must be done after installing the XP system (1)

It is undeniable that reinstalling the system is a compulsory course for Windows users. This is also an indisputable fact. Of course, it is not difficult to reinstall the system
, but after installing the system, do you know how many things we have to do? In the face of the Internet with Chinese characteristics, this can not be allowed to slack off. Otherwise, it will "lead the horse into the room", riddled with drugs, information leaks, data loss, slow network! Therefore, after learning the course of reinstalling the system, it is equally important to do what is done after the system is installed!

The first thing you must do: deploy the latest patch

The importance of the patch for the Windows system is believed to be quite familiar. I won't go into details here. However, after installing Windows, it only integrates some expired patches
, and can't keep up with the times. Therefore, the first big thing after installing the system is to deploy the latest patch. Traditional Windows patch deployments take up too much resources, and sometimes there is no way to properly patch them (for reasons you can guess). However, with Thunderbolt
, you can completely solve this problem and deploy patches quickly and safely.

First download from the Pacific Download Center and install the latest Thunder 5 (this is necessary, the tool will be used below), and then from the Thunder plugin center
Download and install the "Xunlei Jinshan Vulnerability Scanning" component, exit Thunder 5 before installation, and finally select the "Start Thunder 5" option, and then click "OK" to start Thunder 5.

Then, after starting Thunder 5, we can see the "System Bug Fixes" item under "Dog Movies and TVs". After clicking, you will see the initialized window. You can see the following. The window shown in Figure 1. If you have an "exclusive" patch, first click on the small dot before the exclusive patch to indicate it is selected, then click "Download and Repair" below (very fast). When you are done, restart your system. Start Thunder 5 again, click "System Vulnerability Fix" under "Dog Movies and TVs", then select the "Select All (only for non-exclusive install)" option, then click "Download and Repair" below. The system will then download and install the patch, and some patches will let you agree to the agreement before installation. Then, for security, you can reboot the system again, so our system is very safe!

Must do the second thing: comprehensively enhance P2P

Now the trend of Internet "decentralization" is getting more and more Obviously, and in this process, P2P is very popular. But unfortunately, since the shock wave and the shock wave virus, Microsoft has increased the TCP connection attempt limit in the released Windows XP SP2 and set it to a small value of 10, when the system's TCP connection attempts exceed this value. The system will refuse to connect due to security reasons. The intention of this is to prevent worms such as shock waves, but in this way, network software such as Thunder will no longer be able to "work hard"! At this point, we just need to install the latest version of Thunder, then select "Tools" → "XP System Optimizer", and set the corresponding number of connections in the open window, then click the "Modify Connections" button to set it a comparison Large values (Figure 2), and then restart the computer to make P2P tools multi-pronged, all the way.

Tips

After the above patch, PPLive, PPStream and other network TV tools can also greatly improve the speed.
