SFC usage parameters under Win2000/XP

Win98 has a very useful tool --> system file checker, you can use it to quickly check whether your system has lost or modified system files, and automatically remind you of the system files to ensure system stability. Sex, reduce the trouble of reinstalling the system, now this program has been ported to Win2000, but the method used is different from Win98, must be added with certain parameters to run, this is suitable for Win98, then what? What about the parameters? What do the specific parameters mean? Let me tell you now.

Win2000 SFC startup method is very special, you must first enter the virtual DOS (run cmd), and then you can enter sfc parameters, otherwise it can not run. Sfc specific format is:

SFC [/SCANNOW] [/SCANONCE] [/SCANBOOT] [/CANCEL] [/ENABLE] [/PURGECACHE] [/CACHE SIZE = x] [/QUIET ]

means the individual parameters:

wherein parameters denoted in bold should be used carefully

/SCANNOW Now scans all protected system File
/SCANONCE Scan all protected system files once
/SCANBOOT Scan all protected system files every time it starts
/CANCEL Cancels scanning of all suspended protected system files
/ENABLE Enable Windows File Protection for normal operation
/PURGECACHE Clear the file cache and scan all protected system files immediately (only if you are sure that the system has no problem with the disabled, because the system's cache will be lost after use, you need to restore the system files It is more troublesome)
/CACHESIZE=x Unit: MB Set the file cache size (please arrange according to the size of the hard disk space)
/QUIET Replace all incorrect file versions without prompting the user (Be sure to carefully consider whether to use this argument, because the use of incorrect system file system very easily lead to paralysis)
