Use U disk to enter Windows with password

U disk can be said to be very popular today, but if you just use it to store data, it may be a pity. In fact, we can also make U disk play more energy! Today, Xiaobian teaches you a trick that allows your U disk to replace the password of the login system. Only when you plug in the USB flash drive can you enter the system operation normally, otherwise no operation can enter the system. How is it, is it very interesting to try? In order to successfully implement the above functions, we need to use a small tool called Disklogon, which is a powerful security setting tool that allows us to log in to the system using mobile devices such as USB flash drives and floppy disks, and can be free from entering user names when logging in. The login password; once these devices are removed, the system can be set to automatically lock or shut down. Let's take a look at how to set up a USB flash drive to control the login system.
Click to enter the Disklogon download page

After completing the software installation, restart as required, then click the “Password” button on the screen to enter the system, then use the keyboard. Enter the password to log in (if you have previously set up a password to log in). But we don't want to be so cumbersome every time. Let's set up the USB flash drive to make it more powerful, let it directly control the system login.
In the direct start menu, click “Disklogon Options” to enter the setting interface, and then perform the following steps in order:
Step1: Execute the "Options/Disklogon/Disks" operation in turn, the default will be all in the right side of the window. The drive letter is checked, but we only want to use the USB flash drive as the key disk, so only check the drive letter of the USB flash drive (for example, the author's L:).
Step2: Click the “Options/DiskLogon/General” branch on the left side of the window. Next, we will set different operations on the right side with USB flash drive and no USB flash drive:
1. In “Disk removal Behavior” drop-down list box select “Lock computer when the disk is removed" (the computer is locked when the disk is removed), so the system will automatically lock when the USB flash drive is removed; if you want to automatically log out after unplugging the USB flash drive, then You can choose "Log off when the disk is removed".
2. In the "Log on to Windows" drop-down list box, select "Log on when disk is connected" (automatically log in to the system when there is a USB flash drive), so if you do not connect the USB flash drive after booting, you cannot enter the system.
3. In the "Unlock computer" drop-down list box, select "Unlock computer when the disk is connected" (automatically unlock the system when connected to the USB flash drive).
Tip: By default, when the system is logged in, if there is no USB flash drive connected, the user can click “Cancel” and enter the user name and password manually to enter the system. However, in order to enhance security, remove the option "Allow users to type their usename and password to log on or unlock computer" (allow users to enter their username and password to log in or unlock the system)! As a result, no USB flash drive can be used to log in to the system.
Control System Login Create Login Information
Step3: After completing the above settings, we can make the last step, which is the username and password used to log in to the system to unlock. Click to enter the “User Accounts” tab, then click on the “Change Logon information” button at the "Change” button to enter the username and password creation interface (Figure 2). Specific steps: In the “Step1” area, select the U disk that is currently in use in the system, and then click on the “Step2” area to select an ID number (such as 01). At this time, “Create New” will be available. Click this button. And enter the username and password in the subsequent pop-up window.
If you want to encrypt the login information with an encryption algorithm, you can check the “Encrypt this logon information with strong encryption algorithm” option in the dialog box. Click the “close” button to return to the main window when the addition is complete.
Tips: After setting the login user name and password, a file named logon.dln will be generated in the root directory of the USB flash drive. This file cannot be deleted! Otherwise, even if you plug in the USB flash drive during the next reboot, it will not be able to enter the system because the system cannot read “Fingerprint”.
At this point, all relevant settings have been completed, and now your U disk is already a key disk. In the case that the USB flash drive is not connected, the system cannot be accessed at all; in the middle of the system use, if the USB flash drive is removed, the system will automatically lock — clicking on the “Unlock” in the dialog box is also invalid unless the USB flash drive is used again. Connect to your computer. Currently the software only supports Windows 2000/XP/2003 systems.
