How do Linux systems delete icons on the gnome panel?

The gnome panel function of the Linux system is actually equivalent to the taskbar in the Windows system, but after adding the icon of the program to the gnome panel, I found that there is no option to remove the icon from the gnome panel, then how should we Delete the icon on the gnome panel?

Delete as follows:

If you want to restore default settings, delete the following files:

/home /username /.gnome2

/home/username/.gconf

/home/username/.gconfd

Then restart it.

If you just want to delete one or several launchers, there are various icons in the ~/.config/gnome-panel/launchers folder, delete them directly and restart them.

The above is the way to delete the icon on the gnome panel in the Linux system. The file deleted in the text is actually equivalent to the folder of the taskbar icon. If the corresponding file in the folder is deleted, the gnome panel can be removed. The icon is up.
