The device is currently in use

Today, using the notebook to test the security of the unit's wireless network in the CDlinux environment, there have been some problems, and found that many friends on the Internet have also encountered, have not found a good way to record.

My test environment is Dell Inspiron 14 notebook, Win7 Ultimate, VMware Workstation9.0 virtual machine green version, netcore nw330 54G external USB wireless network card, CDlinux-0.9.7.1-SSE-0330. Iso.

CDlinux startup is no problem, but it is always displayed when loading netcore nw330 54G external USB wireless network card

The connection for the USB device 'Ralin 802.11 n WLAN' was unsuccessful. The device is Currently in use.

Beginning I thought that Win7 took up the wireless network card, it uninstalled the netcore nw330 driver and restricted the automatic loading of the driver through the policy group. Not at all.

Changed to another desktop with the same environment as the notebook, everything went smoothly. Where is the problem?

It turns out that the Dell Inspiron 14 notebook USB is 3.0 (the original USB is black, it is now blue, and added the two S logo). After a search on the official forum of VMware, it was found that the VMware Workstation 9.0 virtual machine system does not support USB3.0. Some notebooks have a 2.0 USB port, and you can choose USB2.0. If you don't know, just change a few USB ports and know the device. If you want to use it, use it under USB3.0, it can only be converted by USB2.0 hub.

The virtual machine before VMware Workstation 9.0 returns The VMware USB Arbitrator returned error code 4 (return error code 4). Also because of the USB3.0.
