DNS forwarding

The experiment task queries each other through two DNS forwarding, so that the client pointing the DNS to the DNS1 server can resolve to the record located in the DNS2 server. In this experiment, we need two DNS server and one client topology as follows:

As shown in the DNS server1, there is a host record of www.contoso.com corresponding to IP 2.2.2.2 DNS server2 corresponding to the IP address of www.baidu.com 1.1.1.1

The IP configuration of the client is as follows < Br>

You can see that the client is pointing to the IP address of DNS server1. Below we right click on the dns management console tab under server1

You can see the Properties tab open and see

Click on the Edit option in the Forwarder option and fill in the IP address of DNS server2

Then Click OK to

Then click OK to complete the DNS forwarding process.

Then test in the client
