Remote Desktop Terminal Services default port as “3389” To prevent malicious connections from others, you need to make changes to the default port. To open the Registry Editor, expand the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/Terminal Server/Wds/rdpwd/Tds/tcp” branch, and the port number corresponding to the PortNumber” key is the port number. Just modify it. After the above settings are completed, you need to expand the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/Terminal Server/WinStations/RDP-Tcp” branch, and also change the "PortNumber" key value under it. After changing the remote login port of the server, you can set the server address of the connection in the local “Remote Desktop Connection Program” and click ““Connection Settings → Save As” to export and save the connection file. Then use Notepad to open the exported “*.rdp” file, add the statement <quo;server port:i:port number”, save and import the connection. It should be noted that the file exported in Windows 2000 is a “.cns” file, which can be found in the "Server Port = 3389" statement, and its default "3389" port is changed to the same login port as the server.
