Serv-U server Chinese garbled problem solving

  
                  

Some users have reported that after the Serv-U7.1 version, the file name is Chinese, there will be garbled characters, and some problems such as uploading, downloading, and deleting. Mainly caused by coding, the default encoding of Serv-U is UTF-8.

Procedure:

1, open Serv-U 8.0 console, click the "restrictions and settings" - "Configure advanced FTP command settings and behavior for the domain."

2. Find the OPTS UTF8 command in the FTP settings, right-click to disable this command. 3. Click on "Global Properties" below.

4, out of the FTP command in the Properties tab, the "Advanced Options", the "use of UFT-8 encoding for all incoming and outgoing path and file name of" in front of the hook removed!

5, after uploading Chinese files, there will be no garbled problems.
