IIS installation and website release under Win8

  
        

Share my experience of installing IIS on Win8, then publishing the website, and finally implementing access on the LAN.

First, IIS installation

1, open the control panel (select program and function to enable or disable Windows function)

3, check the checkmark Checkbox, then click OK

4. Automatically search for the required files and install them. Click Finish when the installation is complete. The installation of IIS. (Fig.-4, Fig.-5)

2 , the publication of the website

 The method I used was to use the VS2013 generation website (as shown below) to publish the website-->create a new configuration File (name custom)-->Publishing method‘File system’, target location customization-->Settings‘Release’ --> Preview page Click Publish. This publishes the website, then saves your published files to a directory and then copies them from the directory to the IIS server. 

The following is the IIS Manager settings. First find the management tool in the Control Panel (Figure-7), then select IIS Manager (Figure-8), and then perform (Figure-9) again to see if the installation is successful.

After the IIS installation is complete, right click on the website (Figure-11)-->Add Website Perform the operation as shown in (Figure-12), especially the physical path, which is the location where the file system folder was previously produced.

Simple website you want to publish Just released under the Win8 system, of course, after the completion of the release of your computer access is completely no problem, but when someone else visits, there may be problems with you.
