The solution to use the ITUNES disk is full

People who use iTunes should know that the current version of the iTunes backup path cannot be modified. The backup file can only be stored in the system disk (C drive), but what if the disk is full, For Windows users, the only viable solution is to use Junction. Let's take a look at it now. This is a command line tool that needs to be executed in the cmd window. The method is as follows (take win7 as an example): 1. Download Junction and copy it to the Windows directory. 2. Find the backup path of iTunes. For example, the path of win7 is C:Users name AppDataRoamingApple Computer, and the directory MobileSync is used to store backup files. 3. Close iTunes. Move (cut) the directory MobileSync to another disk, such as the D disk root directory (D: MobileSync). If there are a lot of files, this process is quite long. 4. Run cmd. Enter the command in the cmd window: copy the code junction "C:Users username AppDataRoamingApple ComputerMobileSync" "D:MobileSync" username and D:MobileSync to modify according to your own situation. After the command is executed, you will find that the MobileSync, which has just been removed from the C:Users username AppDataRoamingApple Computer, is back, but the folder icon has a shortcut arrow added. At this point, the link is created. 5. Open iTunes and verify that the backup file is read. If so, you're done. If you are not sure about the command of the junction, you can do this exercise experience, provided that you download the junction and copy it to the windows directory. 1. Create a new folder test2 in the root directory of the c drive. Cut the test you just created. Folder, paste to the root directory of the d drive 3. (win7) Click Start, enter cmd Enter, run the command line window 4. In the command line window, type: junction "c:test" "d:test", note Add double quotation marks to the full path directory to prevent the command from running because the path contains Chinese names or spaces. 5. Normally, you will be prompted: Created: c:test Targetted at: d:test6. In the file manager, you can see that the test directory that was just cut off is back, just a little extra arrow, indicating this Is a link directory. 7. Copy some files into the test directory of the c drive and you will find that the test directory of the d drive also has the same file (the actual storage location). 8. The above operation is equivalent to moving the folder of the c drive to the d drive, and the directory of the c drive is just a link. For the default directory of itunes, you can move to the d drive in the same way. 9. If you are still interested, try deleting the c:test folder, and then go to the d drive to see if the test folder is still there.
