Follow the little fox Ou Peng browser (Opera) native support PDF reader

How to browse PDF documents without a local reader? If you have Firefox installed, you can use the Firefox native PDF reader feature. Now, the Opera browser team is also planning to port Mozilla's exclusive PDF browser project, plans to integrate PDF.js into the Opera browser. What is a PDF.js project? The PDF.js project was initiated by Mozilla and its main goal is to use JavaScript and Canvas to develop a full-featured, universal web-standard PDF reader that natively supports third-party browsers. Due to the frequent security issues with Adobe Reader, opening a PDF document with a browser can reduce certain security risks. According to Opera developers, in the PDF.js specification, they found that PDF.js had some performance issues when rendering large PDF documents and PDF documents with a large number of images built in. At the same time, Mozilla is also accelerating the improvement of PDF.js performance. As of now, the Opera development team tested about 7,000 PDF files and found that only 0.8% of PDF files caused PDF.js to crash, at least one-third of which was due to file corruption. Therefore, Opera developers believe that PDF.js will be an effective solution for the Opera browser's default PDF reader, but there is still a lot of work to be done to integrate into the browser.
