Where is cad automatically saved? Cad automatic save path diagram

When encountering an emergency situation in Auto CAD software, abnormal exit, for example, when we use Auto CAD software, when encountering crash, fatal error, exiting ACAD process , CAD directly quit, causing some of the things we did before the abnormal shutdown of the CAD software was not saved, you may know that you can automatically save some of the things you do by auto-save the Auto CAD software. But where is Auto CAD automatically saved? In other words, where is the Auto CAD automatic save path?

Today, mainly to solve the automatic saving of Auto CAD?

If you do not deliberately set the Auto CAD auto save path, it should be the default auto save path set for Auto CAD software installation. You can know Auto CAD by opening Auto CAD software. Automatically saved where.

1. Open Auto CAD software, take AutoCAD2004 installed on my computer as an example, find [Tools]-[Options]-“Files", click on the "Files" column. You can see the "Auto Save File" option, click on it, you can see the Auto CAD auto save path: C:\\Documents andSettings\\Administrator\\Local Settings\\Temp, double-click the save path, you can also customize The path is more convenient. As shown below:

2, find the path automatically saved above. First, find the WINDOWS system - [Tools] - [Folder Options], as shown below:

Select & ldquo; Show hidden files and folders & rdquo; and do not check & ldquo; hide known The extension of the file type & rdquo;, you can see the extension of all files and folders and all files (this step must be done, because the default automatic save path is hidden in the WINDOWS system). Then find the path C:\\Documents andSettings\\Administrator\\Local Settings\\Temp, which should be a file with a .sv$ extension. But there is a problem you should pay attention to, this auto-save file can be found only if your CAD is not closed properly. If your CAD is normally closed, you can't find this auto-saved file.

Find the file with the extension .sv$, change the suffix to a file in .dwg format, and open it with Auto CAD software to see the saved stuff.
