AutoCAD will automatically load the default basic menu file “ acad.mnu” when it starts, its default path can be in “tool→options→file→menu, help and other file names →menu files” View in.

Among them, the suffix mnu is the original ASCII menu file, mnc is the compiled menu file, and mns is the source menu file.

When AutoCAD starts, it will search in the default path according to the order of mns→mnc→mnu. Find any type of file to generate mnc file and load it. If none of these files are found, the above information window will pop up. Press “OK"> After entering AutoCAD, the toolbar is lost, and there is no function to restore the toolbar in the corresponding menu. But at this time the command line can also be used, just enter the “menu” command, it will pop up a "Select menu file" window, find any of the above types of menu files open to restore the toolbar.

If the file is corrupted or deleted, you can load it from the same computer by copying a menu file from another AutoCAD computer. Of course, you can copy the working menu file to the default path, so AutoCAD will automatically load without us setting it manually. At this time, you can use the “options” command to enter the “Options” window to view the default path.
