Win10 Edge has added support for the webcam "camera" API

Computer Store News: Microsoft recently announced the Microsoft Edge browser, formerly Project Spartan. The browser will replace the IE browser in Windows 10, becoming the default browser for Windows 10 and also includes a host of new features. Not only that, but the Edge browser also introduces new content such as Cortana integration, new rendering engines, and more.

As you might have expected, Microsoft is adding new API support to Edge to avoid any complaints from web developers. The latest addition to Edge is support for the Media Capture API, which is really a great feature addition. It allows you to easily store the images, videos, and Flash type data you want on your web page to your local computer. For example, if you open a website that requires access to your webcam, Edge will request permission and the site will be approved for use with your webcam.

At present, the Microsoft Edge browser is still under development. With the release date of the official version of Win10, this new browser is becoming more mature. With the continuous improvement of Edge, it will become a good helper for Win10 users to access the Internet.
