FlashGet supports a lot of agents, can support HTTP, FTP, SOCKS, etc., to meet most of the user requirements, in these proxy methods, SOCKS is the best, because HTTP or FTP download connection, you can use SOCKS proxy download Below, we will set up SOCKS as an example to demonstrate. Assuming that the proxy server address: 192.168.0.1, SOCKS5 port: 1080

select Tools on the menu - & gt; option, you can also press the shortcut key (ALT + O), so that you can bring up options dialog Box.

in the "Options" dialog box, select the "Proxy" page, then you can see all of the current generation of service settings, now press the "Add" button to add a proxy settings.

proxy server setup is very simple, enter the name of the agent used to identify the "Names", IP address 192.168.0.1 "server" enter the proxy server, enter 1080 in the "Port", in the "Type "Select SOCKS5, if your agent needs to authenticate the user, then just select "Verify", then enter the account number and password in "Username" and "Password". Press "OK" to add the proxy to the settings.



Select our newly added proxy and select "HTTP Default" and "FTP Default" in "Proxy Server". And select "All tasks use the default proxy server", so that when you create a new download task in the future, it will automatically use the set proxy server.



After the above settings for the proxy server, we can easily download unimpeded in the office.
