Analyze the speed issue in eMule upload and download

(1) Factors affecting speed

The first thing to declare is:

eMule is not known for its fast download speed, but is downloaded in the form of interconnected downloads. And popular!

There is no absolute high speed download. The speed of high ID is not necessarily fast. The speed of low IDs is not necessarily slow. This is all relative. High IDs are only superior to low IDs in source selection. Many sources can be searched in a short period of time. Everything else is similar. If the low ID is set properly, if the quality and quantity of the source are good, you can get a very good download speed. When I use high ID, download speeds of 10KB/s are also very common. When using a low ID, a speed of 40-50 KB/s is also possible.

There are many factors that affect download speed:

1. The quality and quantity of the source

2. High ID (settings for firewalls and routes);

3. Local network conditions (if the network is crowded at the time, it will also have an impact)

4. The distance between you and the connected server

5. The popularity of the download resource (that is, the number of people downloaded)

6. eMule settings (must be suitable for your actual situation)

7. The time you download the selection (the speed will be affected when there are fewer people to boot)

8. Files that are not yet popular (such as newly released resources) or files with few sources, or temporary files (parts) can affect download speed.

I hope everyone can have a rational understanding of the download speed of eMule. If you are the blind pursuer of download speed, then eMule is really not for you!

(2) HighID and LowID related knowledge

First, LowID and HighID can be connected to the user when downloading and uploading

1. When actively downloading, you Users who can connect to:
