WinPE does not display the drive letter of the mobile hard disk

1. On the desktop of WinPE system, right click on “My Computer” & —>“Manage”—>“Disk Management>, you can see WinPE system has recognized The mobile hard disk (disk 1) was just not assigned a drive letter. On a partition of the removable hard disk (disk 1) (if there are 2 or more partitions), right click on "Change drive name and path" “—>“Add”—>“OK> ;, give it a drive letter. So how can I not find the drive letter of the mobile hard disk in "My Computer" or "Resource Manager"? Don't worry, press Ctrl+Alt+Del on the keyboard to bring up the Windows Task Manager, select EXPLORER.EXE in the “process” and then click “End Process”. Damn! The taskbar and desktop icons are gone! ……, oh! It came out automatically! Now you go to “my computer” or <;resource manager” look, OK!

2, open WinPM tool software in WinPE system, you can also see that WinPE system has recognized the mobile hard disk (disk 1), but did not assign it a drive letter. Right click on a partition of the mobile hard disk (disk 1) and click "Load" “—>“OK”—>“Close", and assign it a drive letter. Go to “My Computer" or &"Resource Manager"

Using the above two methods, you can see the drive letter in “My Computer", which is a better method.

3, using Method 1 to assign a drive letter to the mobile hard disk in the disk management, right click on the newly assigned drive letter in the disk management and then click to open, a dialog box will pop up. It means that the partition does not exist, ignore it, redo it once, so you can exchange data with other partitions.

4, after using Method 1 to assign a drive letter to the mobile hard disk in the disk management, enter the drive letter you just assigned in the address bar of the IE cable, such as: (X:), press Enter. So you can exchange data with other partitions.

5, after using Method 1 to assign a drive letter to the mobile hard disk in Disk Management, open Total Commander, so that you can exchange data with other partitions in Total Commander.
