After the system deletes the virtual CD-ROM drive, the physical CD-ROM drive cannot be used.

If the virtual CD-ROM drive is installed in the system, it will be deleted. Sometimes the computer drive that cannot be used by the physical CD-ROM drive will be faulty. After this happens, you can solve the problem by: 1. Run the registry editor Regedit or Regedt32.exe;

2. In the left pane of the Registry Editor, navigate to the HKEY—LOCAL—MACHINE\\Enum\\SCSI branch. 3. In the right pane of the branch, you can find the CD-ROM drive information installed in the system and find the string key value item UserDrive-LetterAssignment. The key value indicates the available drive letter assigned to the CD-ROM drive by the system. For example, Hz means from H to z. Can be used for the optical drive. 4. Delete all the subkeys under the SCSI subkey, thus deleting the information of the physical optical drive and the virtual optical drive. 5, finally restart the computer, the system will automatically find the physical CD-ROM drive, and re-add the physical CD-ROM information under the sub-keys mentioned above, the problem can be solved!
