How to open the hard disk of a virtual machine?

Tommy asked:

I recently did something with the VMware virtual machine and wanted to extract it. Because the things that are done can't be copied in the boot state, would you like to ask if there is software that can open the virtual machine hard disk? I just want to extract the files in the virtual machine in the shutdown state.

DiskGenius

Software Size: 4273KB

Software Language: Simplified Chinese

Virtual machine is a good thing, it is not afraid of others to peek inside, huh, huh. Open the vmdk disk of VMware and you can try DiskGenius. It is a free domestic disk partitioning and data recovery software.

Step01: Open DiskGenius (formerly known as DiskMan), click on "Open Virtual Hard Disk File" in the "Hard Disk" menu, and then navigate to the vmdk file you want to open. DiskGenius also supports formats such as img.

Step02: After opening the virtual machine hard disk, a new hard disk like “VD0:test.vmdk” will appear on the “Hard Disk” field of the main interface. Expand it to extract/delete files at will. Right click on the virtual hard disk and you can also select "Close virtual hard disk file".
