EasyRecovery tutorial

When installing this software, please note: If you need to retrieve the files deleted by mistake on the C drive, it is best not to install EasyRecovery Pro to the C drive, otherwise it will affect The file system of the C drive is not good for data recovery.

After installing the program and corresponding Chinese package, run the program, click the “Properties” button on the main interface, and check “Simplified Chinese” in the pop-up window. After confirming, restart the program and it will display Chinese. Simplified interface.

1.Recover deleted files

1 After launching EasyRecovery Pro 6.0, click the “Data Repair” button on the left side of the main interface, and then click “Deleted Recovery” in the right window. Restore deleted files) button.

2 After a short scan, the program asks to select a partition to recover the deleted files. Here, we must first select the partition where the file was deleted by mistake. Then you can enter the file name and type of the file to be restored in the "File Type" field on the right (the default is to find all deleted files, generally with the default value). Note that if the deleted file has been around for a long time, it is recommended to select the check box before the "Full Scan", so the chance of success is greater.

3 After clicking “Next”, the program starts scanning the partition and finally pops up a file list window. This window is similar to the "resource manager" we usually use. Now we need to find the files we need to recover in the list, and put "√" in the selection box before the files that need to be restored.

Tip: After the deleted files are found by EasyRecovery Pro, the file names in the file list may differ from the original ones. Therefore, you must have some patience when searching for files that need to be restored. You can judge whether you want to restore files based on the file name and file type. In addition, after selecting a file, we can also click the "View File" button to view the contents of the selected file, which is very useful for finding text files.

4 After selecting the files that need to be restored, click “Next” and the program asks us to select a directory to store the recovered files. Note that in order to restore security, it is recommended to store the recovery data in other partitions (for example, if the file to be restored is on the D drive, the file found by EasyRecovery Pro can be saved to the E drive). Click the "Browse" button after "Restore to local drive" and select the target directory in the pop-up window.

5 When we select the directory to store the recovery files, click “Next” and the program will restore the selected files to the folder we set. Finally, EasyRecovery Pro also generates a “recovery report” that can be printed or saved if needed.

2.Recovering malformed data

Sometimes we may format a partition due to some misoperations! For this case, you can also use EasyRecovery. Pro to solve.

1 After starting the program, click the “Data Repair” button, then click the “format Recovery” button in the right window bar. At this time, the program asks the user to select the partition that needs to recover data.

Tip: If we not only format the partition, but also change the partition format (such as NTFS from FAT32 format), then in this step, you must correctly select the partition before it is formatted. Partition format, only in this way can have a good recovery effect.

2 After clicking “Next”, the program starts scanning the partition, and then a file list window pops up, showing all the data found. Select the file you want to restore, and then select a directory to store the data (the specific operation is the same as the previous recovery of the file).

EasyRecovery Pro 6.0 has many functions. In addition to repairing data, it can also repair damaged Work, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, OutLook, ZIP archives and other files. Since all the operations are similar to the two repair methods we mentioned earlier, I won't say much here.

Tip: For those hard disks damaged by viruses, since the above data is not really deleted, we can refer to the method in the previous issue of "Follow me to learn hard disk soft fault" to fix the hard disk. After that, the data inside will naturally recover.

IV. Experience in successfully saving data

1. After deleting a file or misformatting a partition, do not write the content to the partition where the file was deleted by mistake. This point should be paid more attention when restoring the C drive. Due to the special nature of the C drive, frequent read and write operations will be performed whether it is booting or shutting down. Therefore, if you need to restore the data of the C drive, it is best to delete the file immediately. Turn off the computer, then hook the drive to another machine and use the tools from other computers to recover the data.

2. Do not defragment the disk that needs to recover data. Disk defragmentation is a process of data movement, so do not defragment.

3. Prepare enough free disk space to save the recovered data. When restoring data through the tool software, don't save the obtained data to the partition being restored, otherwise it will be "added to the snow"!
