It’s hard to be afraid of using the input method to enter special characters

Usually, when we input some special symbols such as "※", "◇" in Word and other editing software, we usually use the "symbol" command in the "Insert" menu. But let us find the special symbols we need in so many symbols, not only trouble, but also a lot of time wasted. In fact, we can simply do this by using the input method used.

Below, we use several commonly used input methods: Pole Chinese, Wubi Plus, Microsoft Pinyin, and Violet Pinyin as examples to show you how to input special characters by input method.

Pole Chinese

Pole Chinese divides special symbols into 22 types and special coding. The basic rule of coding definition is two letters "Z" plus special symbol types. The two initials, commonly used special symbol encoding are: "zzts" special symbol, "zzsx" mathematical symbol, "zzdw" unit symbol, "zzjt" arrow symbol, "zzys" or "zzy" circle number.

For example, to enter the "●" symbol, you can type "zzts", then press "8" according to the display in the prompt bar to make the symbol on the screen (Figure 1).

Wubi Plus

The Wubi Plus encoding rule for special symbols is the Wubi code corresponding to the Chinese name of the symbol. For example, to enter the "§" symbol, you only need to enter the five-character code "uakg" of its Chinese name "chapter number", you can see the prompt on the prompt bar, because there is a weight, press the number "2" to enter. The specific code and special symbol correspondence list can be opened by opening the "wbjj_biaod.htm" file in the C:Program FilesWBJJ directory (Figure 2).

Microsoft Pinyin

The special symbol input of Microsoft Pinyin is relatively simple, and may be directly input through the soft keyboard (Figure 3).

Purple Pinyin

In addition to selecting special symbols on the 13 soft keyboards provided by the input method, we can also input the code of the special symbols. At the same time, these codes can be modified. Right-click on the prompt bar, select "Set Properties", and then open "Custom/Special Terms and Phrases" to see the encoding of the special symbols and how to add the encoding. The default format of Violet is "English code = special symbol", for example, add a line "kwjx=☆", then click the "OK" button to save the settings, then you can use "kwjx" to enter "☆" (Figure 4) .

The above describes several commonly used input methods. No matter which input method you use, you can enter these special symbols through the soft keyboard or by entering special symbol codes. Finally, I hope that when you encounter these special symbols again, you will be well-informed. This is also the purpose of this article.
