How does Win10 make the Outlook Calendar app display Chinese Lunar Calendar

Outlook calendar is the default built-in application in Win8/Win8.1/Win10. It supports adding events and bringing convenience to our life and work. However, the previous version has a shortcoming, that is, it does not support Chinese lunar calendar and wants to display the lunar calendar. Users need to manually add additional calendars, which is not a simple task for novices. Now that the latest version of Windows 10 "Outlook Calendar" has added support for the Chinese Lunar Calendar, let's familiarize yourself with the setting method with the IT House.
Open the calendar app, click the settings button in the lower left corner, as shown below:

▲ Select "ldalls" in the pop-up settings, the following settings screen appears.

▲ Pull to the bottom, you can find the alternate calendar here, check "Enable", select Chinese (Simplified) and Lunar. In addition to the lunar calendar, you can also choose to display the Tiangandi branch, and also provide local calendars for other countries, such as the Thai Buddhist calendar.

In addition to the lunar calendar, the new version can also be set to display the holiday calendar of each country by clicking on “More calendars” in the above picture, and then select the country. The final result is visible on the right side of the image above.
If you often need to view the calendar, the built-in "Outlook Calendar" may not be very convenient to use, you may wish to try the soft media time (click here to download). The soft media time supports Win 10/Win8/Win7/Vista/XP system. It can directly take over the time function in the lower right corner of the Windows taskbar, scrolling to display the date and time and weather information. Soft media time also supports adding event reminders, support for adding multiple clocks, support for stopwatch, countdown, and desktop calendaring.
