How to use the right button to quickly encrypt files in Win10 system?

There is an advanced security feature in the Win7/Win8.1/Win10 system called the Encrypting File System (EFS). This feature supports encryption of files and folders on your hard drive, denying unauthorized access without having to encrypt the entire hard drive or partition. When a user encrypts a file using this function, it is very safe and practical to view the contents of the encrypted file after the other account and the device are booted from other systems.
Under normal circumstances, users need to open the file or folder properties, check the "Encrypt content to protect data" in the regular — advanced, which is more cumbersome.

So, is there any faster way to use it? If you have such a requirement, please refer to the following:
1, press Win+R to open the run, enter regedit and press Enter to open the registry editor;
2, navigation guide the following location: HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerAdvanced
3, on the right side of the new 32-bit DWORD value named EncryptionContextMenu, set its value to 1, as shown below:

Restart or log out, right click on any file or folder and you will see the “Encrypt” menu. For files that have already been encrypted, it will be displayed as “decrypted”. You can encrypt/decrypt files very quickly.

Finally, if you want to cancel this menu, just delete the created EncryptionContextMenu key value.
