Win10 taskbar volume icon is gone, what to do

1, left click on the notification icon in the task bar, click on the open operation center window: all settings.

2. In the settings window that opens, click: System.

3. In the System Settings window, click on “Notifications and Actions on the left. In the right window corresponding to the notification and operation, click: Enable or disable the system icon.

4. In the system icon setting window of enabling or disabling, we see that the “volume” icon switch is placed in the “off” position, click on the small black dot.

5. After clicking the black dot, make the "Volume" icon switch in the position of "Open", and the small black dot becomes a small white dot.

6, we put the "volume" icon switch in the "open" position, the "volume" icon has been displayed in the taskbar, but there is a white x, At this point the computer still has no sound.

7. Left click on the volume icon with white x. In the small window that opens, press and hold the small slider to drag to the right. The white icon of the volume icon disappears and the computer has a sound.

8, we right click on the volume icon, in the right-click menu, click: Play device.

9. In the open sound window, click: Speaker - Properties.

10. In the speaker properties window, click: Level, we can see:

Front Pink In Front pink (microphone) level: 0
Rear Blue In After blue level: 0

11. If we need to use headphones, we can adjust: the level of green (headphone audio output) after Rear Green In; if we need to use the microphone, we can adjust: Rear Pink In and pink (microphone) Level and level of Front Pink In front pink (microphone); click again: OK.

12, speaker properties "Enhanced", we can click: Enhance, in the enhanced window to adjust according to their own needs.

13, Speaker Properties "Sound Blaster", if you do not need to disable the enhanced Sound Blaster, do not set this, Disable Enhancements.
