Win10 closes UAC to resolve Realtek HD Audio update failure

Every month Windows update, there will always be problems with update failure. Recently, several users have reflected in the reddit forum that the Realtek HD Audio driver that Microsoft pushes to users through Windows Update cannot always be successfully installed. Specifically, when the user clicks "Install Updates", the update will fail to install, but no specific error message is provided. The user does not work after trying to restart and sfc repair the computer.

After the user blazinsmokey found that the UAC user account control can be closed, the driver update can be installed normally. It seems that the UAC user account control window does not pop up normally when the administrator needs to be upgraded during the installation process. Causes the program to continue to install.
If you have encountered similar problems, you can temporarily turn off UAC to solve.
Close UAC Method 1:
Enter UAC in the taskbar search box, press Enter to open the user account control settings, as shown below:

Set the security level to the lowest (ie &ldquo Never notify ”).
Close UAC Method 2:
If you have Rubik's Cube installed, you can also turn off UAC by the following method:

Click on the “Setup Wizard” in the Rubik's main window, then at &ldquo Security Consolidation & rdquo; Lieutenant UAC is closed. It is recommended to re-open UAC after the problem is solved. Most of the software can run normally under lower authority. After UAC is enabled, all operations that require administrator privileges need to be approved by the user. This can effectively resist malware installation of unwanted software or tampering with system files without the user's consent.
