Is the computer running Win10 very expensive?

Win10 is undoubtedly the most successful system of Microsoft after Win XP and Win7. The new DX12 standard, the new start button, Xiaona voice recognition and other functions make many people look forward to the official version of the market, the new Win10 also has innovation in energy saving. —— power-saving mode, claiming that it can effectively improve the battery life, is this really true?
It is very simple to turn on the power-saving mode, use the shortcut key Windows+I, and then enter the system> power-saving mode. In the initial interface, you will see the current battery level and estimated usage time. However, in the current test, even if the power-saving mode is started, the power consumption is higher than that of Win8.1.

In this test, the Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 dual-system Yoga Pro 2 was used to test the power saving of the two systems. The two operating systems maintain a similar operating state, the startup items are only Microsoft services, and the power plan is exactly the same. The results show that in idle state, Windows 8.1 performs significantly better than Windows 10 Technology Preview, even though the latter turns on power save mode. As can be seen from the chart, the effect of the power saving mode is not obvious, but it does extend the life of the device. Under load testing, Digital Trends runs the Peacekeeper battery test software on two systems. The results show that the performance of the two systems is very close, but Windows 8.1 still performs better than Windows 10.
Although it can be seen from the results that the Win10 computer really consumes more power than the Win8 system, the current Win10 is still in the test preview stage. I believe the official version will solve this problem and play the real effect of the power saving mode.
