During the use of the system, occasionally, due to some processes, the CPU and other hardware resources are occupied too much, and then the system is stuck. A Win10 user finds that "WMI Provider Host" consumes too much CPU resources and causes the system to get stuck. How to solve this problem?

Solution:

You can try to shut down the Windows Firewall service. solve this problem.

1. Hold down win+R, enter services.msc, and press Enter.

2. Find Windows Firewall in the service, double-click, select “Disable” in the startup type.

3. Restart Win10 system, then test if the issue is resolved.

Some users don't know which process is causing too much hardware resources, because the task manager on his Win10 system can't be fully displayed. In this case, you need to click on the details to view the full process tab.
