How to modify the default text of the taskbar search box in Windows10

In Win10 9901, open the search box on the taskbar and the default text <;Search the Web and Windows" appears. These default texts appear with the search box, and although there are specific functions, changing the default text can give you a sense of freshness. How to change it?

The modification method needs to be operated through the registry, so it is best to use the soft media Rubik's cleaning master to back up the registry before the change, just in case.

concrete steps are as follows:

1, type regedit in the Start menu search bar or run after the carriage return, open the Registry Editor.

2. Locate HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Search. If there is no Search, you need to right click on CurrentVersion to create a new key named Search.

3, after select Search, right-click on the right to create a new string value (Sring Value), named SearchEditBoxText. Then double-click to open, enter any text you like on the inside

4, restart File Manager explorer.exe, just modify the text immediately take effect. The file manager operation can be easily implemented using the soft media cube.

If you want to restore the default text, use the same method to enter "Search the Web and Windows" into SearchEditBoxText.

Change the default text of the search box, it will not change its function, just let your eyes not only "Search the Web and Windows", otherwise it will be visually tired.
