How to solve the Win10 group policy "namespace" occupation?

Senior Win10 users should be familiar with the "Group Policy Editor". Today's Win10 Professional Edition can solve many difficult problems with this "Universal Control Panel", such as manual control of Windows 10 update download and installation. However, some users have reported that the recent "Group Policy" is a bit abnormal. After opening, the dialog box "Namespace...has been defined as the target namespace of another file in the storage" is always displayed, although you can click "OK". Closed, and does not affect the Group Policy function, but it is a bit of a hassle to deal with pop-ups every time you turn it on.

However, we can use the content given in this dialog box to find out the root cause of the problem and then solve it. The specific method is as follows:

1, enter C:\\Windows\\PolicyDefinitions, find the Microsoft-Windows-Geolocation-WLPAdm.admx file and delete

2, if it cannot be deleted due to permission issues (As shown above), you can use the setting master of the soft media cube (click to download) to add the "administrator take ownership" function to the right mouse button menu, as shown below -

3, enter step 1 again Location, find the file you want to delete, right click on the file, select "Administrator to take ownership", as shown below -

4, after executing "capture", delete the file again (know You can put it in the recycle bin.)

Re-enter the Group Policy Editor at this point, you can see that the pop-up problem no longer exists. If you find that other problems are caused by the above operation, you can restore the files of the recycle bin. It has not been found that the operation has obvious side effects.
